Fichte's and Hitler's Volk, 'Volkstum,' or 'Voelkisch'. It's time to drop the odious term---or at least never allow our mouth's speak it, except to curse it. Country, nation, America, and the US were always good enough, and everyone immediately understood. We are a nation of individuals, not homogeneous jackboots.
