Planned Parenthood Has Big Plans

And not just buildings

(The following commentary by Vicki Evans, respect life coordinator of the Archdiocese of San Francisco, ran in the August 27 issue of Catholic San Francisco)

Economic times are tough and not many businesses are in an expansion mode. But Planned Parenthood is. It’s expanding its physical plant size, implementing plans for increasing its professional workforce, and broadening its customer base. Moreover, it is benefiting from significant new sources of capital. What’s the product that puts Planned Parenthood in this enviable position? Abortion.

Freestanding abortion clinics now provide over 90 percent of abortions performed. Planned Parenthood’s share of that market is 25 percent and growing, with abortion being its most lucrative profit center. Its current business plan entails closing down unprofitable clinics and consolidating operations into “abortion mega-centers.”

Over the past three years alone, abortion mega-centers have popped up across the country. Outside Chicago...Cont.

--->A Terrible and Ominous Quote: "Frankly, I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don't want to have too many of." --- Ruth Bader Ginsberg – U.S. Supreme Court Justice, NYT, The Place of Women on the Court July 7, 2009

Note: That quote is astonishing in its openess. And note that 'populations' is plural.

I saw another similar reference---I can't remember where at the moment--- from a very highly placed person, but not from one who sat on such an authoritative Court which actually implemented the mechanism and program. It shows that "extermination" is and was intended to be largely achieved through this means, abortion, and The Pill (notwithstanding the "letting" peoples die---as in Rwanda, I wonder? "They had nothing to sell, nothing to buy"---Steven Lewis, UN envoy deploring his own organization's failures there); and, of course, planetary wars.

Couple abortion and The Pill with saturation levels of ubiquitous pornography and Huxley's prescription about "loving our servitude" seems indeed to be ongoing and efficacious.

Unlike George Orwell's 1984 scenario where brutality ends taxes from the messy dead and from those victims who who would be too maimed to work, this Aldous Huxleyan type foretold extermination business is also a continual source of needed tax and other revenue for the war-making states which effect it, even as "populations" [so much of the future] are effectively culled slowly to "sustainable levels"---which must be a moving line since the need for revenues, and for people who will be required to bring the culling elites their morning eggs and construct their lifestyle-sustainable luxuries, must ebb and flo?

Ginsberg again: Q: The case ties together themes of women's equality and reproductive freedom. The court split those themes apart in Roe v. Wade. Do you see, as part of a future feminist legal wish list, repositioning Roe so that the right to abortion is rooted in the constitutional promise of sex equality?

JUSTICE GINSBURG: Oh, yes. I think it will be. (ibid)

Note: It was a masterstroke, to make vicious eugenics program (or pogrom) against "populations that we don't want to have too many of" appear a "human right"

--->Anti-war groups battle for survival Several factors — war fatigue; a deep, lingering recession; and the presence of a Democratic president they helped elect — have drained the energy from organizations that led the fight against the Iraq war. Some of the most influential anti-war activist groups that once summoned half a million people to march against the Iraq war and the policies of former President George W. Bush are straining to raise the money and attention to fight what they see as Obama’s military entrenchment in Afghanistan. Note: Not to mention Mr. Obama's expansion of "secret" wars on other fronts, "globally". Let's hope the antiwar movement of just a few years ago was not just an anti-GOP facade.

Kay Griggs says the answer may be a lot closer to home than many know; at the highest levels of government and military (though many others in the military are also disgusted by it).

--->Pentagon declined to investigate hundreds of purchases of child pornography. "A 2006 Immigration and Customs Enforcement investigation into the purchase of child pornography online turned up more than 250 civilian and military employees of the Defense Department -- including some with the highest available security clearance -- who used credit cards or PayPal to purchase images of children in sexual situations. But the Pentagon investigated only a handful of the cases, Defense Department records show."
