The Wicker Man of the Druids and Resurgent Neo-Paganism

Thousands gather at Stonehenge for Summer Solstice. Abortion aside, will regular human sacrifice return too? The annual Wickerman festival too popularly simulates the ancient pagan human sacrifice and Bacchanalia every July (click).

Victims were placed in the huge figure made of wicker and lit afire. This today in simulation becomes the climax of the partying at these 'festivals' celebrating once real horror. It all represents the fragmentation which happened after the Flood that was consequent to the forgetting of the original covenants God made with man.

Paganism is the default position of those who fall away from Christ---and it eventually gets very ugly as lust in time turns to bloodlust. Earth worship, baby sacrifice, brutality and the will-to-power.
